Aqua Yoga For Arthritis
Reduce the pain and stress caused by arthritis
"Aqua Yoga is the Best"
I very enthusiastically recommend this online course. Christa’s instructions are careful and thorough. Christa’s background and expertise cannot be over-emphasized. Through experience and training she has developed methods of safely leading individuals with physical limitations as they explore exercise effectively.

from a yogi with arthritis
Is a Declaration of Possibilities
Yes, you can build muscle while respecting your arthritis symptoms. Learn a way to practice daily, instead one painfully sweaty day followed by three sore days of recovery.
Yes, you can return to the things you used do with your friends.
Yes, you can sleep better and be less grumpy with your family.
Yes, you can control your attitude and broaden your self care skills to get through the tough days.
” So much material ”
Excellent introduction to a completely new (to me!) approach to yoga. Christa is a gifted teacher. I like the mix of presentation formats (print, video, audio), and felt they helped get the concepts of Aqua yoga across.

How do I know this will work for my arthritis?
The course includes a half hour private session with me
The course materials are excellent, but you might need help with an issue specific to how arthritis impacts you personally.
We'll meet one-on-one digitally via Zoom.
I'll be in the pool and we'll go over any specific issues you're having in real time.
You'll receive your one-on-one session as a recording also to refer back to anytime.
I have RA, Sjogrens, and Fibromyalgia. I have done yoga in the past, but it was getting difficult and painful to get up and down on a mat. A few years ago I started taking an aqua fit class, but I missed doing yoga. I found Christa and took her online class designed for arthritis.
I was a little apprehensive, but Christa also suffers from RA and is great at giving alternative poses if you have a bad joint or painful day. Between the videos and written instructions it was easy to follow and make adjustments so you didn’t aggravate any muscles or joints.
My love of water and yoga has come together for a great full body workout.

Aqua Yoga Increases Strength
I enjoy the work out we get in the pool. It doesn't task the body, but it invigorates our muscles and strengthens them. At my age, I need to keep active for my general
Meet Your Trainer
Hi, I’m Christa.
I had arthritis for more than 20 years before my diagnosis and had a hard time reconciling everything I'd achieved with all my joint damage. I gave my life long yoga practice the credit and now I help other people use the tools of yoga to manage their health. Aqua yoga is my focus because it is kind to people's joints and is so accessible. It's an easy way to start a yoga practice, it allows people who've lost a land practice to continue, and challenges people with an active land practice to explore their bodies in new ways.
