I was excited to talk with Tyler Valencia of The Kinesiology Institute for Performance Specialists (KIPS) Podcast. Tyler is the rare fitness pro who loves water work as much as land exercise so we had a passionate conversation about how great water yoga is.
The original show notes:
Finding your passion is a common piece of advice many fitness professionals here within the fitness industry but what does the road to get there look like? With each guest on the KIPS Podcast, their unique story is what has driven them to different areas of the health & fitness industry and ultimately create a career for themselves. In episode 55, guest Christa Fairbrother shares her journey to aqua yoga and the many qualities of exercising in water that can benefit all populations. Christa started out wanting to learn more about modern yoga and due to a health issue found herself enjoying the properties of water. This new venture eventually led to teaching aqua yoga and her developing her own instructor training course.
