Waves of Aqua Yoga is a down to earth, practical guide to applying

yoga philosophy to aqua yoga

A Splash from the book...

"Most people think meditating is hard because they think they have to stop their brain from thinking, like their thoughts are water flowing through a hose, and they twist a nozzle to shut off the flow. Your brain doesn’t work like that. It’s an endless river of thoughts. You can’t hold back a river as one single person. You’re just a rock in the stream.

All you’re hoping to do in meditation is to stop the rock from getting tumbled around by the flow of thoughts. You’re just trying to be a steady boulder in the middle of the stream, letting river thoughts roll on by. Even that is hard enough, so how can you accomplish that? Pratyahara and Dharana are the transition practices to help you get into meditation. "

Who the book is for

Why a water lover or yogi would want the book...

Aqua yoga is more than putting your body into shapes in the pool.  It's practicing with the 2,000+ years old foundation of yoga philosophy.

Unlike an exercise guide which puts poses first, this book starts with the philosophy and shows you how to integrate it into your pool time.

If you've done aqua aerobics or swimming and know aqua yoga's different, but aren't sure how except for the poses, this will clarify it for you and get you started.

This book helps you practice aqua yoga in it's complete form including the philosophical structures, breathwork, mediation, etc that help you customize your practice into a form that works for you.

Why a pro would want the book...

This is the first book focused on yoga philosophy in an aquatic format.

The book gives you concrete suggestions to share with your students in a way they can understand and apply.

Is the book available on amazon or through other retailers?

No.  The book is only available through me as the author.

Can I order just the oracle cards or waterproof sequence?

No.  The oracle cards will always be sold with the book as they are prompts and you need the book for directions, like the guidebook that comes in a tarot cards box.

However, the waterproof sequence is available separately in my online store for $20, HERE.

I already bought your water yoga book, why would I want this one?

2 reasons - This is not a teaching guide, this is a practice book for everyone.  If you're not a teacher and felt Water Yoga was not tailored to you, this one is.

And, if you want more information about yoga philosophy, this is the book for you.  Water Yoga had one chapter on yoga philosophy, this whole book is about that topic.
